The new well being program from Delta Galil

Delta Well Being by Delta Galil is proud to present the new employee well-being program: Be Yourself. The new program is part of a major shift in the company’s approach towards employee welfare; focusing on variety and diversity in order to apply to a wide and diverse crowd of Delta Galil employees, all from different backgrounds, ages and occupations.

Be Yourself is a holistic program offering a wide range of activities from various fields. It is meant to be a platform for the Delta Well being efforts, Be Yourself is all about encouraging employees to be proactive and strive towards better living, healthy lifestyle and self improvement, in their personal lives as well as in the work place.

The program is built around 6 pillars:

1.       Be In shape – fitness and sports with activities like a running group, Zumba classes etc.

2.       Be Calm – mind and body with activities like Yoga and Guided Meditation.

3.       Be Healthy – professional consultations like balanced diet and athletic training

4.       Be confident – self improvement through public speaking, personal styling etc.

5.       Be happy –  positive psychology and achieving the personal optimum level of success

6.       Be Creative – developing hobbies and talents with activities such as a choir group

The program was launched through a dedicated website allowing each employee to join and choose their preferred activity, also sent a brochure detailing the different services and classes the Be Yourself program offers. The success of this program relies heavily on the partners and providers involved, they are the added value for the employees. That is why the professionals and instructors participating in this project were chosen; because they offer more – more knowledge, more experience or a new approach.

The responses to the new program were very positive, within and without. Employees are excited and happy of this new opportunity to participate, and globally the Be Yourself program was recently awarded a 50K grant from the Metta Movement fund by LuluLemon, a project supporting corporate involvement in well being and healthy living. This affirmation of the new direction taken by Delta Galil Well Being is just another milestone in the Delta Galil track record of leadership, innovation and excellence.
